VATA Free Communications Abstracts Submission Form

The VATA Research Committee invites students, clinicians, and researchers to submit abstracts for presentation at the 2026 VATA Annual Meeting Free Communications session in the following categories:
- Original Research
- Clinical CASE Study (Level 1-4)
- Critically Appraised Topic (CAT)
- Literature Review

VATA Free Communications Abstract Instructions can be found on the VATA Research Committee webpage: vata.us/research. Questions can be sent to [email protected].

The annual submission deadline is October 15th by 11:59pm.
Please do not submit an abstract if you are unable to attend the VATA Annual Meeting to present the abstract.

Abstracts should not be submitted if the presenting (first) author does not plan to attend the VATA Annual Meeting to present the abstract if accepted.

The abstract may be submitted with a co-author listed as the presenting (first) author if that individual plans to attend the VATA Annual Meeting to present the abstract.
Please note, individuals may submit only one abstract as presenting (first) author.

  1. One NON-BLINDED version of the abstract with the author names & institutions
  2. One BLINDED version of the abstract with AUTHORS NAMES & INSTITUTIONS REMOVED

    *Please name abstract files: “Nonblinded_Abstract Title.pdf” & “Blinded_Abstract Title.pdf”. Please do not include authors name(s) in the file name.
*If including an image/table with your abstract please include it in same file on the next page after the abstract.
